Description

Angel halo headband. Can be easily printed from PLA or PETG, but perfect result is from some shiny PLA Silk filament. The inner diameter of the headband is 116 mm, so it is a size S suitable for a child 6-8 years old. The size can be easily adjusted in the slicer. Print profile is for 0,6 nozzle. If you are using 0,4nozzle please switch it in the slicer and use your favorite filament profile.

Super cool design. My brother asked me to print it for him so he can use it for Halloween party. I changed the print settings to 4 walls and 100% infill, infill pattern concentric, and resized all three items to 110% so it can fit grown ups head. The base i printed in PETG so it is a bit more flexible, and the top part is printed in PLA Silk.

Printed awesome! Printing 15 or so for a church musical! Headband will flex to fit multiple sizes.

Great and simple idea. I printed it with Silk Gold for the ring and Clear for the hanger. Five times in total

I printed this model twice from PLA on a Bambu Lab A1. I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but in both prints the connector pins did not fit together properly. I had to sand down the connecting rod, and in the end I joined the parts using a hot glue gun :(

Hello thank you for response. Fit of parts is tight. It was ment like this because I want that the parts hold strong together. But in my prints I can connect it without sanding. Different material behave in diffeerent way and your print is maybe overextruded a little.

The halo itself looks great and was a big success with our kids. I’ll probably print the next one in about a year :) I’m not saying the model is made badly — I understand that different materials can behave differently. I printed it from PLA on a Bambu Lab A1 with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Unfortunately, the connectors didn’t fit perfectly on either of my prints, but a hot glue gun solved the issue nicely and the joint holds very well :)
