Description

Ever been in need of a recessed outlet? Maybe behind a mirror to plug in it's light?

This may be the solution for it.

I had to come up with a concept for a customer who wouldn't wanna see any cords around it's lighted mirror.

There is enough room to fit a stiff 3 prong plug in its 120v receptacle.

Just install the receptacle in a 4x2 steel electrical box and mount it with the original white screws onto the hidenoutlet.

I used M3x40 screws with 2 nuts to stop the M3 from moving around.

Cut a hole of 10.5cm wide and 11cm high into the drywall insert this contraption and tighten up the tabs.

Print in ABS preferred.

Excellent I used it as a flush-mounted wall socket I added a 503 box where it was already prepared and I put inside a 2-module Bticino Living support so that I could store a 10/16 Ah socket inside it and mount the flush-mounted power supply behind the tablet which remains attached to the wall by sliding the tablet upwards you can directly access the power outlet very convenient and functional

Do the instructions not indicate that it should be mounted in a receptacle enclosure? Is the drywall firerated?

great job man, those things are expensive if you have to buy them, I will print one for me and one for my son for his house. Thanks for sharing, this is a perfect solution for one of the wall mounted digital calendars/picture frames that are getting popular now.
