Hello,

This is my first creation that I'm publishing here. It's an Aqara Opple switch adapter. This adapter allows the Opple circuit board to be invisibly integrated into a Gira 55 switch and frame. No additional parts are required.

Assembly:

For a perfect fit, however, the original rocker switch (older series) needs modification. The central support rib must be completely removed. This is quickly done with an electronics side cutter. Then, the two lateral holders need to be shortened with the electronics side cutter. The rocker switch inner part can then be installed into the rocker switch. For fixing, melt the plastic from the original switch or use hot glue or super glue.

Now, the Opple switch must be disassembled. We only need the circuit board and the screw.

A 1.5mm hole must be drilled into the plastic part rocker adapter circuit board (will be fixed in version 2)

The rear frame part is placed behind the original frame. Then, the spacer is attached from the inside of the frame. Please trim it slightly as it interferes with the battery. The circuit board follows, and finally, the small plastic part rocker adapter circuit board, which is screwed on with the original screw. Note that the plastic part and the hole in the circuit board are not perfectly centered.

The distance between the microswitch and the adapter is slightly increased to provide better switch feedback. I glued on EPDM pieces for cushioning. Some experimentation may be required here.
