Description
Inspired by this design, I made these trimming spinner tools as a simple, no-support, snap-fit 3D print. They are a Christmas present for my ceramicist sister (hopefully she doesn't see this before Christmas!đ) I made it in the same two sizes with an outer diameter of either 6cm or 4cm.

I went through a couple iterations to make sure the spin was both smooth and low friction. You will notice that the two pieces do not fully touch as there is a small ~0.5mm gap between them. This provides a smooth glide while it spins. I did include ironing on the mating surfaces in case there is any contact as well.

To assemble the two pieces together, they do require some force. Place one side on a hard surface and then press the other side firmly onto it. As shown below, it is possible to do it one handed like this while taking a shaky video. đ If you have any issues, please leave a comment and I will work on a V3!
