Description
This is a device for washing the inside of your homebrew kegs! It connects to a (I believe standard) shower head thread (20mm, 2mm thread pitch) for easy cleaning. There is an optional part for fitting a regular garden hose printed on a separate plate. This uses a standard garden hose quick disconnect, which you will need an o-ring for.
It features an upward facing nozzle and four chambers that are angled downward for thorough cleaning. The height of the model is 290mm, but it can be extended by printing the “center pipe” part in as many segments as you need.
Parts are threaded, and may be a bit tight to fit, but going back and forth will help you ease it in place. This device will leak at higher pressures, but that is of no concern; a hight enough pressure will be achieved to get rid of trub and residue. Sanitise as you normally would after washing!
Tested on an apollo snub nose and kegland oxebar with great success.
NOTE: If printed in PLA or other low temp filaments remember to keep the water temperature low, as hot water may deform PLA!
