Description

This is a custom-designed 3D-printable enclosure compatible with the RAKwireless RAK19003 and RAK19007 boards. The enclosure provides a compact and functional solution to securely house your board while maintaining access to essential features.

Key features include:

  • Antenna support: Slots for the Bluetooth antenna and GPS antenna, plus a cutout for the SMA antenna connector.
  • Battery integration: The cover includes a holder designed for a MakerFocus 1100 mAh Li-Po battery pack, keeping your power source secure and organized. I suggest adding a little bit of double-sided tape to keep the battery in place.
  • Port access: Easy access to the USB-C port and reset button on the bottom for seamless connectivity and device management.

This enclosure is ideal for LoRa or IoT projects requiring a durable and practical housing. Whether you're using it for prototyping or deploying in the field, this design ensures your RAK board and peripherals are well-protected and easily accessible.

 

The cover is attached using (4) M3x6 socket head screws.

 

Any and all feedback is welcome for this design! I will try to incorporate any feedback that helps improve the design.

 

UPDATE 2024-12-06:

  1. Fixed a few issues with the filleting on both the case and cover.
  2. Adjusted the fitment of the cover and screw holes to allow installation of a TPU gasket.
  3. Added files for cover and antenna TPU gaskets.
