Description

This is an alternative base for my Modular Lantern Mk1 & 2. Instead of using friction to securely hold the tea light it has a cage with an internal dimension of 38mm diameter 20mm height. This gives you a bit more flexibility on the size of tea light you can securely place inside.

Simply insert the base into your lantern core add a tea light and then the cap to secure it.

I keep looking for a suitable flame led for something similar. I think you need to find a USB or 5V based LED bulb with a suitable connector. If you do find something that is widely available across countries eg from ALiexpress etc then let me know and I'll purchase and make a base for it.

The insert end up to be to small for my tea light. I had to adjust the inner diameter slightly.
