Description

NOTE: This model is the kicking machine ONLY! It is intended to be used with my other model which contains the football, tee and goalpost: https://makerworld.com/en/models/773415

I also have a mostly print-in-place lite version of this model: https://makerworld.com/en/models/881063

This is a great addition to my existing football game by allowing much farther kicking distance and accuracy than using your finger to flick the football.

You can control the distance of the kick by how hard you push the KICK! button. My son likes to ditch the goalpost and just kick it across the entire room by hitting it down with his fist!

You can customize the model to your favorite team's colors and logo (like I did for our Highschool team) or use the default color scheme which comes with both a single color KICK! button with text in relief and a multi-color version.

I printed the model out in Bambu PLA, but the spring mechanism may last longer if PETG is used. I noticed that some colors slide a bit smoother than others, if the movement isn't smooth you can add some lubricant to the moving parts.

I plan on extending this model with interchangeable “legs” for other other games (e.g. a golf club) or aesthetics (a realistic foot).
