Description

Cheese candle mold. Assembles from four parts + two brackets to hold it in place.

Recommended to be printed from ABS.

Casting instructions:

  1. Id recommend to heat the beewax (other wax types might have different temperatures) to 85-90 degree celsius. Hotter wax might start bonding to plastic, colder will leave visible wax seams when pouring.
  2. Original or smaller molds dont require anything to be done with assembly seams, however if you scale it up, id recommend to mask the seams with paper tape (that you use for painting). It will prevent any leak thru.
  3. Install the vick, and pour the vax. Leave it to sit for 10 mins, if necessary add some vax again. Afterwards i put it in the fridge for 10-15 mins, and later remove the bottom and top covers and put it back in the fridge.
  4. After a while mold should pop off itself, due to thermal contraction.
