Replacement battery cover for Xbox Series X/S controllers. I printed using PLA on the Prusa i3 MK3 and couldn't be happier with the results!
After testing the first version, which is as close to an exact replica to the original part as possible, I found that the printed part lacked the textured feel of the original. So, I made a second version with some texture on the top surface to help slide the cover on and off. I also use a rechargeable battery docking station, so, of course, I made a third version with a cutout for charging the batteries.

Printing Tips
The model comes with a “wall” surrounding the part to help with stability as it prints, so make sure that the print is oriented as shown below.

I also highly recommend the following slicer settings to help with a clean print and ease of support removal:
- 0.2mm layer height
- Outer and inner brim - you decide the width but I used 4mm and it worked well
- Support material
- Everywhere
- Grid style
- XY separation of 100% (i.e. same as nozzle diameter)
- Increase pattern spacing - 4mm spacing worked well for me
