Description

I designed this wheel assembly for a dive coaster I have been working on. I will also publish track parts.

You will need various M4 and M3 screws of varying length. I printed these in PLA filament with a 3 loop wall. As long as the walls of the print are thick enough, infill will not matter. You can get screws through makerworld, and it will support me. If you don't want to do that, use the following kit on amazon.

After this, the next part of making the coaster is the coach. The coach holds 2 wheel assemblies. Make 2 before going through that step.

great print, have any tips for the wheels to rotate rather than just rubbing/scraping along the track?

yes. If you have TPU filament, I will post a rim that goes on the outside of the wheel and helps it rotate better. I used this strategy for the drive tires on my coaster and decided to modify the assembly wheels too.

what size would the rails be with this assembly?

I will have to check the file when I have access to my pc again. You can check by opening the track file I uploaded in bambu studio and using the measure tool on the rail.
