Makita cordless vacuum bag conversion

I present you the conversion kit for using a bag in a Makita cordless vacuum cleaner model DVC750LZ or ADCV11Z.

Pipe diameter is 55 mm so most of the shop vac bags should pretty much fit. I'm using Karcher KFI 357.

Steps for conversion (refer to the pictures to make it clearer):

1. Print the parts. If you are going to use a sander to sand down the lip of the original connector you don't need to print the router jig.
2. Remove the upper part of the vacuum from the container.
3. Remove the black inlet by removing the 2 screws.
4. Reduce the lip on the bottom part of the inlet to be between 1 and 1,5 mm height. If you are going to use the router you can use the provided router jig by tapping two M4 threads into the holes of the jig.
5. Place some silicone around the edge of the flange in order to make it seal against the container. Unfortunately there is no space for a gasket due to the vacuum design.
6. Put the flange into the hole of a container.
7. Put the black inlet onto the flange and fasten it down. Do not forget the O-ring and make sure that the inlet lip has seated into the flange recess.
8. Put some silicone on the inner/upper part of the elbow.
9. Slide the elbow from the bottom up on to the flange and make sure it is seated well.
10. If necessary remove the excessive silicone from the inside using your finger.
