Description

6-december-2024: Model changed to version 2, added a ring-lift wedge to the end of the handle.

Can opener help tool, for example, a useful tool for especially older people or children, (easier and to avoid the sharp edges!)

Lift de ring with the handle (wedge part), then use the opener - just as showed in the video.

Good tool for in every kitchen!

the print it self is okay and still works, the finish on the top layer is a little rough but nothing a sanding job can’t fix. print 9/10 Sunlu PETG Blue

That's a strange looking top surface, it can be the ironing settings. Here the top layer was perfect with this print profile so i can't tell what it is on your side.

may just be the fillement needs string a little bit more, or time to get some new PETG, had this roll just over 2 years

it’s all okay the print isn’t effected in anyway, feel like the rough finish may have been due ether to my speed settings at the time. Or due to the fillement being so old. Thank you for the print design, works very well.

Thanks! Now my mother can open the cans without any force needed. Would be even better if the other end had a wedge to do the initial lifting and save your nails in the process.

Hello, thanks for the review! Happy i can help people like your mother. The wedge i actually removed from the model, I tried this but the wedge has to be very sharp (can hurt u) otherwise it can't get under the ring. Now maybe I place it back after your review :)

Hello, thanks for the tip, i have re-designed the model, add a wedge for lifting the ring now! If u want u can print it again, this time with the wedge ;)

great tool. I work in elderly care and made the can opener for a client who is disabled due to a stroke. now she can open her cans independently again. Thank you
