Description

This is my design of the sonic screwdriver from Sir John Hurt, also known as the war doctor

print all parts and glue together (tolerances will vary depending on your machine and material so some sanding may be needed)

the design is hollow so there might be enough room to include some electronics for light and sound

if adding light, it is recommended to print the top part in transparent material

Have some wibely wobely srewdriver fun

This really turned out great! Since I am using my FlashForge Adventurer 5M, I downloaded the STL files. There was no spindle in the STL files but I downloaded the the 3mf file and was able to take the spindle from there. I used the spindle to attach the bottom two pieces. My paint scheme differed a bit from what you suggested but I am very happy with the outcome. Gorilla glue worked wonders in keeping everything together. Thanks for the fantastic work!

Sorry to hear your print did not fit, i printed mine with petg and it was a bit on the loose side so it needed some glue. I did mention in description that my experience is: tolerances can vary depending on machine or material so some need glue some need sanding. So i guess your setup is in the 'needs some sanding' category.
