I hope I am not being unfair in my assessment, I try to be objective; the design is lovely and I gifted it to a young girl we adore, and she was captivated by it. The issue with the design is the significant amount of waste it generated—the finished piece weighed approximately 75 grams, while the waste amounted to 150 grams. I am unsure whether this is due to a design that, in my inexperienced opinion, is flawed, or if it could have been optimized. I have included photos of the finished product.

If you use PLA, it is Bio-degradable so that makes it less of a waste.

That’s not only about the environment. But about the monetary cost of the filament. I actually showed this to my husband as an example why I’m not using the AMS for that many multicolour prints.

I think it's part of the compromise you get for multicolor. it looks like the industry is going in a different direction and the next generation of printers probably will be much more efficient at waste. for now, one way to mitigate waste a bit is to use The Purge Tower for an extra 3D printable objects. or you could print multiple items when you do these prints which produces the same amount of waste, but you spread it across multiple pieces. Hope that helps

yes it is true because this is my first version, the next ones already include a tail and stripes on the back
