Description

Xiaomi Temperature and Humidity Monitor Pro is a power hog.

So I made a dummy battery to replaces CR2032 battery with AA batteries.

It uses two dummy 2032 batteries and two magnets to secure the Monitor.

⬆⬆⬆Requires one AA battery case (in series connection), two 4x2mm round magnets

⬆⬆⬆To attach the positive (+) wire (red) of the battery to the top of the dummy battery, consider breaking this part off by hand.

⬆⬆⬆The middle of the dummy battery is the negative (black) wire, and the top is the positive (red) wire. The wires on the battery case I bought weren't long enough, so I added some solder with a soldering iron and sanded it down.

⬆⬆⬆The battery bottom case is secured with a latch, making it easy to install the Monitor and change batteries. The magnet can be inserted by applying pressure. The magnets perfectly hold onto the screws of the Monitor.

⬆⬆⬆It looks like this after installation. The back cover of the Monitor itself is not needed.
