Description

Adapter sits on top of scales, providing a recess for a Bamboo spool to sit in without rolling away.

Text reminds that an empty Bamboo spool weighs around 250g, so a part-filled spool can be weighed and then 250g subtracted to estimate the weight of the remaining filament.

OpenSCAD file included, so you can tweak the dimensions for similar scales or filament spools using the online Customiser.

0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 10% infill

The bottom part is completely detached; otherwise, the print is good. I don’t understand why it detached from the printed base. I’ve glued it with acrylate or Loctite. I printed with phosphorescent filament, it glows in the dark

The "mesh" part is just the support: the design has a border ridge that fits around the table of the weighing scales, to stop it slipping off :) Or am I misunderstanding?
