555/545/540 grinder housing
Print Profile(3)

Description
Type 5 electric grinder housing, compatible with 555/545/540 motors, utilizes a JT0 drill chuck. The base cover features a pre-drilled hole for a DC5521 metal female header and a speed controller opening, accommodating both 5A and 10A speed controllers as depicted in the model diagram. Motor mounting uses M3 screws, while the housing is secured with M2 self-tapping screws. Longer M2 self-tapping screws are required for the base cover.
Custom openings can be accommodated upon request.
The Year of the Snake version housing, updated July 1st, also supports Type 5 motors but is incompatible with motors featuring iron rings or magnetic shields. The ventilation holes are positioned to align with the 555 motor.
An integrated housing, a lengthened full-enclosure chuck cover version, has been added on February 16th. This version incorporates internal clearance to accommodate motors with iron rings. For motors without magnetic shields, to mitigate vibration, consider wrapping the motor with rubber or dust-proof cotton for dampening. The tail cover screws are now side-mounted, utilizing M2*8 self-tapping screws. When installing the rear speed controller and DC header, install the DC header first, followed by the speed controller. This design is compatible with 5A/10A miniature PWM speed controllers and the JT0 drill chuck.
