Description

Calling all naval history fans, battleship lovers, and 3D printing enthusiasts! ⚓🔥 This is my 3D printable model of the USS New Jersey (BB-62) — one of the baddest battleships to ever sail the seas. Nicknamed "Big J", this absolute unit is the most decorated battleship in U.S. history, serving in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and even into the 1980s. Yep, she’s seen it all.

This model was designed to capture the iconic look of the Iowa-class battleships — sleek, powerful, and armed to the teeth. I made sure to include details like the massive 16-inch gun turrets, secondary armaments, radar masts, and those classic lines that made these ships legends. It’s the perfect project for anyone into military history, naval warfare, or just printing cool stuff to show off.

Printing Tips:

  • Prints clean at most scales.
  • Minimal supports needed (mostly under the turrets and overhangs).
  • Recommend using a gray or metallic filament for a more authentic battleship look.
  • Can be painted for extra detail if you're feeling fancy.

Whether you want a small desktop display or a big shelf centerpiece, this model’s got you covered. Perfect for schools, collectors, wargamers, or anyone who wants a piece of naval history sitting right on their desk.

If you download and print this, hit that like button and upload a make — I’d love to see how yours turns out! 🔥
