Description

Enhance the efficiency of your AMS filament switch with this optimized buffer holder, designed to mount the buffer in the ideal position for faster filament changes.

 

New version available, compatible with AMS-Flippers/Tilting: AMS Buffer Holder 2

 

Key Features:

  • Improved Filament Swap Times: When combined with shorter PTFE-tubes, this holder reduces filament swap durations by approximately 30 seconds, streamlining your 3D printing workflow.
  • Optimized Positioning: The mounting location is carefully chosen to maximize the PTFE radius within the constraints of the AMS-Buffer 4-pin cable.
  • Durable and Reliable: While PTFE wear may be slightly higher than default, the improved performance ensures a more efficient filament management system.
  • Easy Assembly: Recommended assembly parts include 2x M3 threaded inserts for securely attaching the buffer to the holder.
  • Update Bambu Studio Parameters: Update Filament Load/Unload durations in slicer to directly see the improvement of print times (Bambu Studio → Tab “Prepare” → Printer Settings →Tab “Basic information” → Filament Load/Unload Time)
