IMPORTANT: to customize using the bezier curve polygon shapes the default design uses, you must download both this tankgrip.scad file and the bezier_v2.scad library file from https://www.printables.com/model/263728-bezier-library-for-openscad/files and place them both in the same directory.

You can use the script without the bezier curves module if you remove the bezier_polygon functionc all and replace it with another 2 dimensional shape or collection of shapes of your choice such as a minkowski sum of a circle and square or a hull of two circles etc. Use whatever shape you like.

Modify the padshape_* modules to define your desired shape, and tweak the remaining variables for the grip texture pattern. The supplied default values are designed to replicate the grip pattern of the TechSpec pads.

The included STLs are shaped to fit a 1992-1999 Honda CBR 900 RR Fireblade but may fit other models.

Use TPU or another flexible filament.

recommended settings for TPU with direct drive extruder:
.4mm nozzle
0.1mm layer height
2mm retraction @ 20mm/s
20-30mm/s print speed
fast as possible travel speed (250-500mm/s)

TPU is stringy, and preventing stringing is more important for print quality than preventing surface artifacts. Turning up retraction speed may help, but too much may cause clogging/jamming.
