Description

Bike computer mount

Model are made from scratch by me and contains a replaceable bracket for mounting different bike computers.

This model has a separate mount from garmin that are made by @Tim Angus: https://www.printables.com/model/156670-3d-printing-friendly-garminwahoo-interface. Note that i have remaked his file so that it will be able to fit my design. I will upload my remake file of his model in a separate upload.

My computer mount model are made to fit handlebars that are 31.8mm, if there are issues with the model slipping on bars, please add tape, rubber strip or simular for increasing friction.

Model spesification:

Total Length: 12,9 cm

Max width: 5,8 cm

Length from handlebar to the computer mount attachment: 5,3 cm

Model fits Hammerhead Karoo 2 bike computer and i will guess that smaller computers also will fit. I have not tested with garmin edge computers, however if those computers are simular to Hammerhead there is a possibility for those fitting aswell.

I recommend using tougher filament when printing this model. I have used both ridgid x and HT PLA Pro Matte from Add north. Both working great and gives a superb finish.

You will need the following extras to be able to attach the different parts on the model:

2x threaded Insert: M3 x 5,7

2x threaded Insert: M4 x 8,1

2x umbraco screw: M3 x 7mm

2x umbraco screw: M4 x 11mm

Steps to get all of the needed models:

  1. First print this model
  2. Then print my remixed spring plate model: https://makerworld.com/en/models/818873#profileId-761624
  3. Then print @Tim Angus file: https://www.printables.com/model/156670-3d-printing-friendly-garminwahoo-interface/files
    1. After printning my remixed spring plate and @Tim Angus's model on Printables, then swap out his spring plate with my modifed one. Then you can use that on my computer mount model.
  4. Assemble the models
