Description

The Axial Capra 1.9 4WS is about one of the most capable out of the box rock crawlers you can get. But from day one I had found it hard to insert the hood pins into the posts. Unlike most other RC cars the post point down and the pin inserts from the bottom, under the hood. These light mounts not only hold some crazy bright lights but also replace the OEM posts with ones that poke up from the bottom of the hood giving easy access for inserting the pins. I was concerned about them snapping off when hit in a tumble so designed them to be short and stubby. Ive yet to break one and as you can see in the pics they are pretty scuffed up. Simply drop the light into the housing and insert a 3mm x 4-6mm screw in the hole in the housing to hold the light in place. Then simply push the housing into the hole from the bottom side of the wheel well. Its a snug fit and wont fall out.
