Print Profile(3)

Description
Motor cars M152.0 are the most widespread Czech railway motor cars. They are used as driving cars on regional lines with a smaller number of passengers. A total of 680 cars of this series were produced, of which two were wide gauge. Cars were produced by Vagónka Studénka for ČSD in 1975–1982 (prototypes in 1973). Since the mid-1990s, both successor organizations (ČD and ŽSR, later ZSSK) have been modernized to different type series. Some of the cars are still in operation in their original condition. Some cars ended up in the hands of private carriers. Some of the cars were painted with Najbrt.
Trailer cars of the Btax780 series, numbered in the interval 50 54 24-29, designated Blm in the 1970s, designated Baafx in the 1980s and 1990s, designated series 010 until 2009, are the most common trailer cars of the Czech Railways fleet. All 912 cars of this series were produced in the years 1973–1983 in Vagonka Studénka. The cars are technically and visually related to the M152.0 motor cars. Some of the cars were painted with Najbrt.
