Description

I have designed a case for my Tvheadend based on Raspberry Pi 5 + Raspberry TV HAT.

The case allows you to install the NVMe Base for Raspberry Pi 5 from Pimoroni to use NVMe storage (much faster) instead of a MicroSD card. However, the case still supports the use of a MicroSD card.

To help with cooling, the lid has ventilation holes for the Raspberry Pi active cooler.

The Raspberry TV HAT is housed on the side so as not to block the Raspberry Pi cooling. A data cable is required to connect both devices. I have designed a template to help build the custom cable.

Assembly Guide

  • Print the Base, Lid and Spacers needed (according to your configuration).
  • Place the Heat-Set Inserts.
  • Build the data cable, if you want, you can print the template to help you with a Water Pump Pliers.
  • Assemble it.
  • Enjoy!

Notes for Nerds

All models have been designed with PLA filament shrinkage in mind. They are ready to print directly without scaling.

Make sure you have correctly calibrated the flow and shrinkage of your filament.
