Rising Shell Transformable Fruit Bowl

The design references Robert van Embricqs’ Rising Shell furniture (reference URL: https://www.robertvanembricqs.com/risingshell). For simplification, I did not use a hinge structure, but instead leveraged the foldable characteristic of thin PLA sheets. Considering that as a container, we would not repeatedly fold and unfold it, the strength of 2 layers of PLA is sufficient to withstand several operations without breaking.

I adjusted the dimensions so that a 256-size printing bed can print it in one go.

Final assembly requires two segments of PLA filament (1.75mm diameter).

Printing takes 5.5 hours, assembly takes 15-30 minutes.
