0.16mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill

My print turned out exactly as the photos,  need to use BRIM for the thin long part, and also use GYROID infill.  I will try again.  Thanks for the model,  its a great idea, and just needs some tweaking of the print settings.

The rods are too wobbly, so the print fails

The tumbling in a front load will likely break it. A top load might work, but not sure. I recommend using it in the dish washer.

couldn’t get it to stay on plate. User multiple filament types and it kept coming off plate.

What detergent/soap would you use for this in a dish washer??

I used PLA+, had some minor warpping. ABS may work better.

What filament did you use? This is going on my print list.

<p>Ich habe Wände, Infill und Stützen ergänzt, sowie einen Brim. Jetzt ist es stabil und lässt sich auch gut drucken. Ja, es dauert länger und man braucht mehr Material, aber besser als ein Fehldruck. Ich habe es mit PETG gedruckt. Kappe einlegen, mit Kabelbindern befestigen und bei 40 °C im Geschirrspüler für ca. 90 Minuten mit dem ganz normalen Geschirrspültab im oberen Korb. Alle Schweißränder sind raus und die Kappe ist wie neu.</p>

I added walls, infill, and supports, as well as a brim. Now it is stable and prints well. Yes, it takes longer and uses more material, but it's better than a failed print. I printed it with PETG. Insert the cap, secure it with zip ties, and put it in the dishwasher at 40 °C for about 90 minutes with a regular dishwasher tab in the upper rack. All sweat stains are gone and the cap is like new

<p>The baseball cap washing cage is designed for use in the dishwasher only, ideally with cold water and no drying cycle to prevent the plastic from deforming. The pieces are 3D printed without supports and are designed to snap together but require glue for a secure hold. To use, clamp the hat inside the two frames and fasten the front with zip ties or twist ties to hold the cap in place during washing. Hang to dry.</p>
