Monitor Top Extension: Display Stand

Following the release of "Monitor Top Extension: Headphone Holder" (https://makerworld.com.cn/en/models/630791), some enthusiasts expressed a desire to further utilize the space above their monitors, perhaps for displaying small figurines. Therefore, I have designed this monitor-top display stand.

• The stand is composed of two parts: the platform and the monitor hook, printed separately and connected via a snap-fit mechanism.
• The platform is available in two lengths (15cm and 20cm) and two tolerance levels (loose - 0.15mm and tight - 0.1mm).
  • For prints using matte or similarly textured filaments for both the platform and hook, the larger tolerance is recommended.
  • If either component uses metallic, silk, or other smooth filaments, the tighter tolerance is suggested.
• The hook is offered in four sizes to accommodate monitors with thicknesses of 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, and 21mm.
• The platform features square holes spaced at 5cm intervals, allowing for the addition of custom text or image plaques. This design includes two blank templates for your personalization.
• Despite the overhanging snap-fits on the platform's underside, support structures are unnecessary during printing. Refer to the included images for print examples.

Monitor Top Extension: Demo Platform

Following the release of "Monitor Top Extension: Headphone Holder" (https://makerworld.com/en/models/777331), some friends wanted to make better use of the space above their monitors, such as displaying garage kits. So, I designed this demo platform mounted on the top of monitors.

• The design consists of two parts: the platform and the top holder, which are printed separately and connected via snap-fit connectors.
• The platform has two length options (15cm and 20cm), and two tolerance options (loose-0.15mm and tight-0.1mm).
  • If both platforms and holders are printed with matte or rough-surfaced filaments, try the loose tolerance model.
  • If either part is printed with metal, silk, or smooth-surfaced filaments, try the tight tolerance model.
• The holder comes in 4 sizes to fit monitors with thicknesses of 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, and 21mm.
• Square holes are placed at 5cm intervals on the platform for optional customized text or image plaque. This design includes two blank templates for your customization.
• Although the snap-fits on the bottom of the platform have overhangs, they can be printed without supports. See the attached images for print results.
