Description

This accessory for AMS solves many problems and avoids any type of block.
Even though there are several of them, I preferred to make a personal one with new variations. The filament entry is not forced and the whole operation is more fluid

I am experiencing issues with Sunlu spools and this upgrade The AMS Saver binds within the larger holes of the spool as soon as it attempts to retract filament from the edge

This can happen, getting stuck in the large holes at the edge, with the PTFE tube length being 95mm, after careful examination, it seems that simply trimming 5mm off the tube won't solve the issue

Creating an arched opening at the front should resolve this issue, but how should it be oriented on the build plate during printing

Yes of course but I assure you that it works with any attack. I recommend you use it with the curved part facing the coil. This is the correct direction. I saw that you did not respect this condition in all of them.

Actually I feel like the curve should be facing backwards to the spool, it actually helps to prevent tangle and can pull out buried filament strands even better. (I've been using it 24/7 for 2 months now, it is still the best filament guide available!
