Description

This is a stack of Four 4x4 Superlight Gridfinity baseplates. I used KYZ Design's Superlight model, as it allows for faster/less expensive print.

The support material is PETG to allow for easy separation. AMS Recommended

Specifically designed this because the 5x5 plates are too large to fit on my A1 mini's build plate.

Thank you Zack Freedman and KYZ Design for the inspiration + original baseplate model

NOTE: Higher bed temps, bed adhesive and/or brim enabled will help with first layer adhesion. The corner of the baseplate has the tendency to lift just a bit off the build surface if the first layer adhesion is not adequate.
Usually, the print will still turn out fine (the first layer baseplate can be bent back into shape), but, do be looking out for this issue! Please let me know if is problematic

NOTE 2: Some of the PETG support material is 2 layers thick while others are just 1 layer thick (8 stack). This is because I did the modeling by hand… it isn't perfect. Functionality is not affected, but I wanted to make a note.

I will go back and fix this at some point in the future for the v2 version of the 8 stack
