Description
Context
This is my first time modelling and printing something! I'm a big fan of IKEA's plants, but some of the pots aren't exactly my favorite. I modelled this one to look similar to the IKEA Gradvis.
Features
- Drainage holes at the bottom of the pot (I saw this was a common trend on planter pots, but really it just helped reduce the amount of filament used by a bit)
- Partially ribbed sides
Recommendations
I primarily designed the height and width of this pot to fit the IKEA Fejka 3.5" ivy plants. However, this pot is compatible with other 3.5" potted plants from IKEA. If you decide to do so, I'd highly recommend printing the pot at 85% height (so the total height is 85mm) for a more aesthetic look.
The IKEA Vinterfint in the model pictures was put into a pot printed at 100% height. For non-ivy plants, a shorter pot at 85mm fit and looks way better.
Enjoy! I'm trying to save up for a Bambu Lab A1, so please consider downloading and printing this pot 😊
