Gingerbread house suitable for illumination
A gingerbread house nestled in a snowy winter landscape—what could be more delightful than spending Advent evening with family, enjoying delicious punch
and the finest gingerbread treats. To enhance the coziness, I've designed a small gingerbread house.
It can be used with a standard electric tea light. If anyone has a creative alternative lighting
idea, I would appreciate seeing pictures in the comments.
Regarding the model: The house is modeled using a tongue-and-groove technique to achieve high structural stability. I painted most objects with acrylic paints, but everything can be dyed and printed in various colors. The fit is
excellent, and it's sturdy to the touch.
Assembly instructions: Everything was secured with super glue; it's advisable to first connect the walls to the base plate.
Then attach the windows and door. The roof panels can be joined using the candy cane.
Do not glue the roof to the house if using tea lights.
The roof tiles are somewhat tricky; it's best to align the roof straight and lay out all five strips beforehand; this allows you to accurately estimate the spacing.
Now add the remaining decorations, and let the contemplative Christmas season begin.
Edit: Colors have been adjusted and reassigned to print plates.
