Description

This is a tool for cutting joint or blunt filters to roll with. Use with a standard size business card to get 6 or 8 filters from each. To get 6 long filters, simply put the card on horizontally and push it against the top and side walls then press the lever down to cut. Repeat this process until the card is cut into 6 pieces. To get 8 short filters, put the card on vertically and cut, then flip the card over and continue the cut on the opposite end. Once the top or bottom of the card is cut off, fold the cut off piece in half and use the top wall and left side edge to line up the next cut. Then proceed to cut the remaining piece into 6 more pieces, as in the first step.

I used 1 M4x20mm screw and 1 M4 washer for the hinge screw, and 2 M3x8mm screws to hold the blade on. The holes in this model are very tight for this hardware. I was able to get them to thread in with heavy pressure while turning them. Heating the hardware before application may help, but it wasn't necessary for me.

I have been using a previous version of this model for a few years with good success and felt it was time for a better version. This is my first upload and my CAD skills are not very good yet. But, please let me know what you think!
