Update: Due to popular demand, the multicolor version is no longer available

This is my first model, commissioned by a young lady. It's a standard recorder embellished with numerous ornaments, surpassing a typical recorder in grandeur—“In a novel, it would at least be a high-grade magical artifact!” was her request. I believe I've largely achieved this, though it underwent several revisions

Please don't ask why I didn't make it a transverse flute; the young lady does not play that instrument

While the appearance is rather ornate, this is indeed a standard Baroque recorder (eight-holed recorder). The internal air column volume has been meticulously calculated, and it is playable. However, as I am not a professional musician, I cannot guarantee its pitch accuracy

The model comprises three sections that connect with simple insertion. The joints have been reinforced as much as possible, but due to FDM limitations, excessive force should be avoided

Dimensional accuracy may vary due to printer and filament differences. Please adjust compensation values or perform post-printing refinement/reinforcement with adhesive as needed

The connection at the lower end is relatively loose; this is intentional, allowing rotation to accommodate the position of the little finger

PLA filament is recommended. PETG and other materials are not recommended. Furthermore, as the mouthpiece will come into contact with the mouth, please be mindful of the biocompatibility of your chosen material🤐

A dual-color version was also available but is strongly discouraged due to substantial waste generation and inferior print quality compared to the single-color option

The images show my single-color and dual-color prototypes

The print profile is no longer public
Other Issues:I can't split the model into different pieces. It would help if I could just reprint the failed pieces instead of the entire thing. My print failed at 80% and one of the flutes tilted during the print. I had tree supports around that part and it still failed to stick. I think a brim would help and a prime tower.

Settings for best results Enable brimming and prime tower. You can find it in the 5th tab (Others) under bed adhesion. Brim type > outer brim and brim width > 10mm. Under that is Prime tower > check it off. There were less filament flung around on the bed and there was a very noticeable change. Far less filament blobs stuck on the print and way less stringing on the print. There were maybe 2 strands on this print. Sound quality Doesn't sound better than the one from school. My son has said he has to blow a little harder to produce the same level of sound, but even the sound wasn't quite as clear as the real thing.

it turnednout amazing, but may need to figure something out for removing unwanted airflow between the connection points.
