Caulk Cap and Piercer Tool

This Caulk Cap and Piercer Tool is designed to allow you to pierce the inner membrane of a caulk tube after the tip is cut off and then to act as a cap to keep the caulk fresh for use later. YMMV depending on the type of caulk you use, but I have had tubes remain useable for months after I opened them using a cap like this. The tapered tip is over 4" long to be able to reach through the caulk tip and pierce the membrane to allow the caulk to start flowing.

I used a wide brim to help with adhesion as this is a tall narrow print. You can either remove the brim or leave it, as it doesn't affect the use of the cap.
