Description

Light-duty pulley that prints clean with zero supports.
Options: 608 bearing or printed bearing + axle/snatch.

Skeleton Zero is a pulley designed to be strong, stylish and light-weight. It prints without supports and features either a printed compression-fit axle or a printed screw fastener. This pulley is capable of easily handling light-duty jobs of up to 25 pounds, with durability depending on which bearing type you choose.

Updated September 6, 2025: Now you can print Skeleton Zero without a 608 Bearing!

Both bearing and wheel options are included in all of the attached print profiles.

About the Two Fastener Options

Option 1: Compression Axle (Most Popular)

The axle is a two-part compression fit locking design and assembly is simple but will require some gentle hammering ideally with a plastic hammer or the butt end of a screwdriver. Once hammered into place it will be quite strong easily capable of lifting 25 pounds and can handle even greater static loads. This is the strongest option.

Option 2: Printed Screw / Snatch Block

Print the screw by maxing out wall loops or use 100% infill. This design has an additional feature that it can be opened and closed like a snatch block. This is the more versatile option since it allows for easy disassembly.

Updated August 3, 2025 - Skeleton Zero XL

New XL version that has a 14mm wide wheel for larger cordage, cables and tubing. This variant requires two 608 bearings.
