Summary
This is a 1:24 scale model of the US Navy's venerable SM-2 missile. The SM-2 is a medium range air defense missile used by Arleigh Burke Class Destroyers, Ticonderoga Class Cruisers, and many other vessels. This model includes the VLS vertical launching cell that they launch from.
This model is part 3 of a 4 part series that will include all the Mk 41 VLS launched air defense missiles of the US Navy:
This model is very easy to assemble by snapping together, no glue is required – the missile prints all as one piece.
Bambu filaments used were:
- Basic Light Gray
- Basic Dark Gray
- Silk Gold
- Silk Silver
- Matte Gray, Matte Black, Matte Latte Brown for VLS stand
