Description

Kirby Christmas Desk decoration or Tree topper***. Print a festive Kirby riding his warp star for your desk or place it on top of your christmas tree. The model ideally requires 1 ams unit unless you are comfortable with painting then print the no AMS profile. I have added two extra meshes in the 3mf for those who want to try a more complex print but please read the disclaimer** before attempting. If you want to customize* the star even more you can drill a hole in the bottom and insert lights. The video below walk's through the assembly process which is very straight forward. Use glue to assemble Kirby s face and torso.

*I have tested and verified the star can be printed with 0% infill but you may have issues with internal bridging. If you do attempt this use only one peg to attach Kirby instead of 2. Consider using a more transparent filament and setting walls to 4 to avoid fragility.

**If you chose to use the single or dual AMS Kirby heads. Be aware that most pink filament is translucent and due to the way bambu parses multicolour prints the black components may show through. This cannot be offset by flush volumes and there is currently no way to avoid it other than using a more solid filament colour. If you attempt this project in ABS it should be fine as ABS is less translucent than PLA or PETG.

This is not filament bleed. The Pink filament is translucent so the black comes through. A less translucent filament will avoid this. I used and only have iBoss Pink.

***I currently do not own a christmas tree. The balance of this model is untested. If you print this is a tree topper do so at your own risk. I recommend printing the decorative base as a backup in case it is too heavy for your Christmas tree.
