Description

I purchased some LED lightbars to add some motion-sensing lighting in a closet and wanted to mount them at an angle so the light would shine more on my clothes and less on my eyes. So I designed these angled mounts to accept Medium-sized 3M Command Strips on one side and the sticky-backed steel plates that came with the lightbars on the other.

The v2 model is a more printable model, but I've only actually made v1 lol

Remember to put everything together before you mount the mounts to the wall/ceiling/door/whatever, so you get the spacing right. So, you'll want everything on the lightbar and then peel off the Wall sides of the Command Strips and stick everything up at once, before taking the lightbar off and pressing on the mounts for 30s to get the strips to set well.

Here's the Onshape link if you want a different angle (it's parametric to the angle) or you wanna mess with the dimensions, etc.: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/1d95b328393f0dcb063104bf/w/e1a51a96ec2bca5cb48aed0c/e/2a658bf55b209d4fbe3a5b9b?renderMode=0&uiState=66f5a88cb2acad212cff6bda

Here's the lightbar model I build this around: https://a.co/d/aWYFDRC
