Description

This model allows you to wall mount common, generic pedestal fans with a 25mm diameter shaft (which enables the height-adjustment).

There are many different types of fan which all use the same mechanism that is compatible with this bracket because they have a shaft of 25mm (red-indicated part on the pictured fan).

To mount your fan first mount the printed part in a convenient location (i.e. where you want the fan to hang). Then remove the 25mm shaft from the fan: Unscrew it from the main fan assembly and remove it from the bottom shaft, by disassembling the feet. You can then insert the 25mm shaft in the printed part and screw on the main fan assembly, ‘locking’ the combination in place.

Great design. I added manual supports to the large hole, 0.2 layer height, 0.4 nozzle, maxed out the number of walls (by just typing in like 1000 walls into the strength section), x1c. Took just over 3 hours. My manual supports weren't great (im new) so I had some cleanup to do. The model mounts my fan perfectly, and does so parallel with the wall, which means if you want air flow at a height of human or under, you must mount the fan at that height. I prefer mounting it out of the way, so I'm going to add an angled bracket to mount this fan mount to. This way I can mount the fan higher up, pointing downwards. The design itself is lovely, and has plenty of strength where it needs it. The design is very efficient, and aesthetically pleasing. I am lanning to use countersunk screws that match the profile of the model's screw holes. As the designer says, it should work with most household fans as it seems they're mostly using 25mm diameter poles to mount the fan head assembly. Very happy overall, and a big thanks to the designer for this great design and for being thoughtful and sharing this design.
