i made this little ornaments , printed with silk fillament for a shiny presence. its made from 2 seperate pieces , the ornament with silk pla and the top cap in gold silk pla.
easy and fast print with allmost no waste :) to print on diferent printers with more on the plate u need to reorganize the pieces because this prints by object to make them with vase mode. I put only one in the 3mf becausse else it wont upload to makerworld has it says it would have colission errors otherwise.
make shure ure plate is clean , and be carefull when u take them off the plate . i used the scraper after the bed cooled down so u can just lift a bit and it pops off with no damage.

These are really good! Printed them in Esun tricolor PLA+ with a .2 nozzle. Needed some tuning because some holes appeared, but when correctly dialed-in these are great!

ow that doesnt look right , i dont know for sure what happend but could it be u are printing to hot ? seems to Mutch melted filament on the tip or mayby it started getting loose from your plate and the ornamenten started moving ?

u just need to copy one and past on thesame plate , u will get a blue Circle arround the object because its print by object with vase mode . after this move the objects on the building plate so the blue circles dont touch each other. on my p1s i could print 9 at once . makerworld didnt allow it to upload it with a full plate 😕

any advice on how to make the ending of the pointed ones better? They are generally great but that pointed end looks weak

not realy , in vase mode it spirals all the way up , the point Gets a little bit flexible at the tip when printing because its really small. only thing i think u can try of u want to make it a bit better is a modifier on top for slower speed and mayby more Cooling . I didn’t bother to Much with it because it wasnt really weak on mine and generally looked ok
