Description

Found a great grip for the Anbernic RG40XX H on Thingiverse, but as designed it was to be printed in 3 separate parts and glued together. I wanted to be able to print the grip in place and use the structure of the print to reinforce a stronger model printed as 1 piece instead of 3.

This grip is definitely an upgrade to using no grip. I think the ergonomics were designed for people with very small hands or children, because using the device without this grip is downright painful. How are you guys keeping the device in place within the grip? So far I've literally got a rubber band running down the side of the screen to hold it in, but wondering if anyone has any better ideas.

Between the front tabs, and the width of the "cradle" portion of the model it should slide in snugly and stay put. Did you scale the model at all before printing? (Photo taken just now holding it facing down for reference.)

It is indeed nice and snug (no scaling), but when pressing up on the d-pad (or moving either of the sticks up) the device slides out. The rubber band works for now- maybe I'll try gluing a piece of rubber inside to create more friction.

Great! Feels great in my hands. might not fit in my pocket now but it slides easily on and off.
