Description

Description:

Design features two main components: the main outlet and the bottom wedge. The main outlet efficiently directs the filament tangentially to the spool, while the bottom wedge ensures a secure and stable hold. Outlet enables you to use it as horizontal or vertical outlet. Assemble effortlessly and upgrade your filament drying process with this practical, tape-free solution.

Installation:

  1. Attach the main outlet to the dryer's exit port. You can use it as horizontal or vertical outlet.
  2. Secure it in place with the bottom wedge for a stable fit. Use pliers as there is little space
  3. Enjoy a reliable and neat filament guiding system.

Print setting recomendations:

  • PETG, ABS, ASA
  • 0.4 mm nozzle
  • 3 perimeters
  • 4 top and bottom layers
  • 100% infill

It works! Printed on P1S with PLA. Installed as instructed, with the addition of hot glue to the underside to make it sturdy. I heat threaded the fitting into the print. Filament: Flashforge PLA Burnt Titanium

Fits okay but is a bit loose. Would have prefered a tighter fit. Everything else printed fine, supports were easy to remove.

So, print worked nice, but my Sunlu Filament Dryer S2 does have smaller holes than this outlet can handle, I am sorry, I can't make it fit without destroying it. Maybe Sunlu did change the diameter of that hole?

Sorry, turned out to be my fault. I have the white/transparent Sunlu S2 and there's a mini transparent plastic tube in the hole which one needs to remove before all these models work. I did not know that, so not a problem of your model.

They might. I have no way of verifying it as I dont own S2 anymore.

Print quality wasn’t as good as anything else I have printed. The design wobbled a lot, and wasn’t easy to get the filament out of the dryer and into the ptfe. I swapped this out with one that I hot glued in place and allowed PTFE to go all the way into the dryer. I don’t have a picture anymore because it broke when my dryer fell over. That is not a fault of the design or profile though, that was an issue with my dryer setup. had the design been secure and easy to load, I would have reprinted.

The hole has a 4.7mm diameter, but I have no idea what connector that is. I hope this helps.

it’s kinda loose and the little clip falls if I hit it with the filament, but it does what its intended to do.
