Happy Snowman Lamp
Here's a joyful snowman, ready to illuminate your room in those long winter nights! This is more traditional take compared to my previous snowmen, but is so cute with a traditional “face” and snowflake-shaped cutouts that allow more light to go through!
Originally designed with tealights of various sizes in mind, but as a happy accident can also be placed on LED Lamp Kit for stronger light.
Due to the snowman being printed in parts, no AMS necessary!
Safety warning: Do not use real tealights! Fire and PLA are not compatible!
Design Details:
When assembled, the snowman is 12cm tall including the hat (the included hat is 2cm tall) and fits LED tealights of all the sizes I could find as well as being placed on LED Lamp Kit.
Snowman kit:
- Snowman body: 10cm tall (excluding hat connector), 8cm diameter in widest spot
- Hat: 2cm tall, 3.5cm brim
- Nose: 7.5mm when assembled
- Arms: 3.5cm long when assembled
Assembly instructions:
- Printing whole kit and clean up the brim of the nose
- Insert the arms into the square side holes on the body.
- Insert the nose into the center hole on the face.
- Finish up by placing the hat on top of snowman's head.
Printing recommendations:
- Body: Printed in Bambu PLA Basic Jade White. Bambu PLA Matte Ivory White would also work great.
- Nose: Looks great Bambu PLA Basic Pumpkin Orange
- Arms: Printed with Bambu PLA Silk Copper, for additional spark. Would also look good in wooden colours like for example Bambu PLA Basic Cocoa Brown
- Hat: Bambu PLA Basic Black. The ribbon (when using AMS) is Bambu PLA Basic Red
Note: There's a choice of No-AMS and AMS profiles. The “AMS” profile uses 3 plates, prints by object and the hat has a ribbon. The No-AMS profile is 4 plates, each plate a single color and the hat is fully black.
