Description
It is always a worry storing away a 41C: leave the batteries in and risk battery leakage, or, take them out and risk losing the cover. Now you can keep your HP-41C battery cover attached to the calculator with these proxy/placeholder batteries.
These proxy batteries are shorter than real N cells to avoid fully compressing the springs. With all four, there is still plenty of tension to keep the cover securely attached.
I used PC filament as AI tells me that PC is least likely to have any chemical interactions with the battery contacts. AI's second choice is PETG.
