Description

You better watch out, You better not cry….

Have you been naughty or nice? Santa will know with this dummy Santa Cam which beams video directly to the North Pole!

Just 80mm diameter, so not too big or intrusive, and relatively quick and easy to print (hollowed-out to save filament & cost). The Santa Cam features keyholes for screws to make it easy to install but is lightweight so can also use double sided sticky tape.

Please see my other models for a 'cube’ version of the Santa Cam which will sit nicely on a shelf, or mantelpiece.

I upload my models to Makerworld so the rest of the 3d printing community can download, print and enjoy them for free. I respectfully ask you not upload, distribute or sell my designs or 3d printed models from my designs on any platform or marketplace (this is against the license terms). Thanks for the Santa Cam best one thus far ive seen from the lot. it came out well with the glow PLA on the Santa Part. Have to get a Red Gem for the Fake light. Overall came out well.

great thing, although lots of waste... I scaled it down to 60% and printed 3... and another set for a neighbour...

Thanks for the comment and for uploading a picture. It's always great to see my models being used by others. Regarding waste, the middle of the model is hollowed out to minimise filament usage as much as possible without needing support for the top of the dome.

yes, that was a nice touch! But it's the red/white, white/red changes that cause the waste I was referring to. nice model nonetheless

Ah, yes. Multi colour printing does increase filament usage with the purges between each layer. Glad you liked the model though.
