Here is a revised version of the HeatIt cap.

I have printed it in PLA+ and PETG for testing. It works with both materials, but best with PLA+.

  • These are three different dowels (positioning pins) in various sizes. Small holes are incorporated into the model to keep them separate. This is unfortunately very difficult to see in the photograph

  • Experiment to find which dowel has the least play and press it into the grooves. These can be pressed in firmly

  • Now press the counterpart onto it and check if the HeatIT fits.

  • Finally, I strongly recommend gluing the two sides together with superglue.
