Our new model…

 

This time it's a hammer, or rather a rubber hammer.
The head and handle of the hammer are printed from the new filament from Bambu Lab, "TPU for AMS" and it prints very well, while the handle is printed from Bambu PLA Basic filament.

 

The model is made of three parts, easy to print and assemble.

Came out great. Used Sunlu PLA +2.0 for the shaft and Siraya TPU 85A for the grip and head. Used 3 walls, 5 top and bottom layers and 35% infill for the head and it's a nice amount of stiffness and has some nice weight to it which is what I wanted so I'm very happy with it. I'm going to start another one for fun with a PPA CF shaft and TPU 95A head and might go higher on the top and bottom layers and infill for some more stiffness and weight on the head so I'll have a softer one and a stiffer one.

Love this design so much I've made three so far. The original on on the left shat is PLA+2.0 with 85A TPU with a decent infill I believe it was about 30-35%. Very nice combination of stiffness vs softness. Middle is PPA CF shaft and 95A TPU with I believe around 25-30% infill. Fairly stiff with a touch of softness but not much. Right is PET GF shaft 85A TPU with lower infill has some nice softness but still firm enough to use as a mallet but I cut the top 15mm or so off and printed a separate 64D TPU part and epoxied the two together which is very stiff. So one side of the head is very soft 85A and the other side is very stiff 64D. Will probably print more in the future too!

I printed the shaft from PAHT-CF at 50% speed for more layer adhesion I scaled the grip 1% larger but only because of the PA-CF so that it still fits on the shaft despite the rough surface Very sturdy and perfectly usable I deliberately threw it several meters several times and it hit the ground quite hard IT HOLDS :)

A truly exquisite model the only alteration I made was printing the style horizontally instead of vertically resulting in a slight truncation for enhanced stability The hammerhead was printed using standard TPU and the lower handle with PLA Plus This combination yielded truly exceptional results

Amazing design, great work! 👏 I printed this using a combination of TPU 95A and PLA. The hammer head is TPU with 30% infill, while the rest is PLA, and the result turned out fantastic. It works perfectly as a rubber hammer — solid, functional, and with just the right amount of flexibility. Thank you for sharing this high-quality model, I really enjoyed printing and using it! 👍
