This year, the Santa Clauses are getting together for a celebration at my place.

I have designed and printed a few Santa Clauses.

Here are my files for everyone to print.

- The Santa Clauses are 80mm tall.

- I have also tested with 60mm and 100mm heights. (see pictures)

Each Santa .3mf file contains 1 plate with one Santa and one plate with 16 Santas on the plate.

I can't believe whether color printing including waste on an A1mini is worthwhile and I didn't bother trying it.

Although my .3mf files are printable, please consider the following "thoughts."

When color printing with an AMS/AMS lite, you should think about the waste generated.

In order to generate as little waste as possible and still be able to print safely, I have taken a few steps.

  • Tree supports placed by hand and only at important points (see print results in the pictures)
  • Infill is at 2.5% (sufficient)
  • only 2 wall thicknesses
  • Cleaning the colors (purge) in the support structure and in the infill of the model (will be printed anyway)
  • I have left the cleaning tower for safety, but it would also work without the tower. (see example pictures below)
  • I have reduced my purging material by 20% to over 50% with LINK (see example pictures below)

! No calibrated purging material settings in the .3mf data!

Please check your own settings or have BBL calculate it (standard).

  • X1. P or S users could also think about the poop chute --> LINK (not necessarily important for printing, more for safety)
  • A slightly different nozzle wiper (LINK) could also contribute to safety during printing in an X1, P or S. (not necessarily important for printing, more for safety)
  • Perhaps a poop buddy (LINK) could be helpful.
