I previously purchased a white Taito display case, but the original base stand was rather large, and the white hair would be obscured by the graphics card. To allow for more flexible placement, I redesigned the base as a chess queen.
The base and the feet of the white case fit together snugly, even allowing for upside-down placement.
!!!Note: The base is uneven; there are six cylindrical supports underneath arranged in a 2x3 pattern, with a 3.1 mm diameter and 5.5 mm spacing.
Theoretically, the case would still stand firmly even if these six cylinders were removed. The case's circular holes are 3.5 mm, primarily serving as alignment guides.
There are still some issues. Movement of the desk causes slight wobbling, as the case isn't rigidly affixed; also, it's not rotatable. A 2.0 version is forthcoming.
